UPDATE AFTER KG’S STATEMENT:
Kg’s statement was one of the first things I have seen after waking up and even after 2 hours I am still speechless about it. I am scared for the girls, terrified about what they had to go through and knowing a member had an attempt is worrying me the most.
I am 100% supporting the girls and I hope they will get out of the company as soon as possible without any more harm. Praying not only for KG, but for all 6 girls and I hope they will find a peace in their life again. No one should ever go through something like this.
I am shocked that JYPE is capable of something like, I genuinely had the biggest faith in them out of all 4 big companies, but once again this proofs we don’t know what is going on behind the closed doors. I thought I learnt my lesson long time ago, but I’ve always found myself in this same sh*tty situation again.
I hope the girls won’t experience any more harm from now on.
(Please excuse any mistakes, but I wrote this sincerely from my heart and I don’t really feel like I should let the grammar checker check this one)

I prefer katseye as i think their concept is more mature and actually fitting as a global group. For vcha, i think their songs are kind of young and joyful but the lyrics and music for the songs could be better to fit the group

FOR THOSE WHO said that VCHA was trained for 1 year, no. That’s mostly filming the show. Only a part of 2022 was their auditions and regionals, and then bootcamp in LA which NOT all parts were professionally trained - they did in the bootcamp only and that seem to be at most - weeks? In their last performances there in LA, they said they had two days to practice. The korean bootcamp part was the opportunity to be trained DURING the show and that was up until Spring 2023 or so. They had 6 months in Korea to prepare for their korea bootcamp. They’re also younger than other shows being compared (i can be wrong since I only heard of rumors), and any of their previous experiences before the show were not a kpop training system except for a previous JYP trainee Gina who got eliminated. If they aren’t impressive to you right now, they definitely will be after a few more years so just watch 😉. If they’re not going to be the biggest group, well they’re still going to be a solid group since they have established fans who followed their growth journey already. ❤

I prefer A2K since you feel more for the contestants that get eliminated. VCHA is relatable since JYP is going for the next door girl image. It's also more appealing because even though its a global group, they are living in Korea and learning Korean so maybe we'll get a true kpop song out of them in the future.

vcha is actually talented, they're vocals and dance is so good it's crazy how they do that in short amount of time.

VchA performances seem so organic and the girls seem like they enjoy performing and you can see it through their performances. I hope the best for them.

vcha is still so talented for performing their predebut song on music shows with LIVE VOCALS.

Following VCHA thru their journey made me a fan.... Can't wait to see them debut.

I love dream academy's talent but vcha gave viewers more content and it was fun to see them improve so vcha has a larger fanbase.. at least for now. I think netizens will continue to put both groups against each other once they both debut. I personally believe both groups will be successful and that hybes group might target young adults while vcha will target teens so I don't think they'll have competition for audiences

The thing that you can't compare is that most of Katseye members weren't even original trainees aside of Megan, Dani and Sophia; and they were already talented before the show, they were selected because they already had the talents. Meanwhile, Yoonchae, Manon, Lara didn't even get to train with the og ones until the show was announced or was going to be announced/started

I can sing and watching A2K feels like if I pursue my dream this is the way and its not gonna be easy even though you are already talented, i think that's why I love the girls soo much. Im rooting for my fantasy dream, and i want to be successful 😢❤

I think also too the format of A2K vs Dream Academy allows viewers to grow a deeper attachment to the VCHA members as opposed to Dream Academy where we only see their performances. So at debut VCHA will have a stronger fanbase since we got to see them grow together. They definitely won't flop, it's just the beginning for them

I think whether both the groups are going to become successful or not depends on how the company is going to support them....cuz both of them are super duper powerful and talented and it comes to the songs and how they are managed by the

Im rooting for fighting 💪💪

Wow Kendall’s fancam clip towards the end looks really good. The moves are clean and even though it’s not her part, the expressions are still on point.

In VCHA's case, JYP looked for talent to improve and develop. And as you can see they have certain talents, raw talent that JYP further developed them to be better in performing and showing their true shine (shining their talents)
So a lot of people watched A2K from the very start where it shows talented american girls, watching from that it was more of a PROGRESS where they let us watch how they really improved and showcase their (A2K contestants)abilities.

VCHA is in the JYP dungeon rn. I honestly think that he didn’t expect there to be huge competition with Katseye. Katseye has kinda figured out this global kpop group thing

Dream Academy supposed to be aired 9n 2020 but got delayed due to covid so they basically trained at least 3 years with monthly evaluation.
