I’m a disabled veteran, who has a female Boerboel. She is the best dog I’ve ever had. Always by my side looking out for me. She is a true guardian angel! They are also a very smart dog. I live in the country and my female looks out for all the animals I have and especially my granddaughter. Oska my Boerboel loves when she comes to visit us and I know that she would give her life protecting us.

I’ve owned 2 males in the past. We do have the largest one bite tested and it was around 660-675. He was ‘only’ 178 lbs. Both were excellent dogs, highly intelligent and very protective.

The BoerboeL is a beautiful strong looking dog. The head size and muscular bone structure is IMPRESSIVE.

this is the first I've ever heard of 850 psi of bite force in any dog - - so far the highest bite force tested was a Kangal at 743 with a Banddog ( a non AKC recognized mix of mastiff breeds ) around 730 and the Cane Corso at 700 especially since all the numbers I've seen relating to Boerboels were under 500 psi. They are beautiful and extremely powerful dogs with protection built into their DNA so not a critter to be messed with. I personally have an XL Cane Corso weighing in at over 180 lbs and can touch the top of a 6 ft. fence with his nose standing on his back legs. He loves kids and gets along with all manner of other animals if they act in a friendly manner but he loves to chase squirrels if I release him verbally. The point I'd like to make is all these types of dogs require training and owners who know what they are doing with power breeds or else there could be tragic outcomes due to their size, nature and power

Boerboel is clever and excellent guard dog also is clever as hunter but his speed is so slow .

Owned, Bred, and adored this breed for over 20 years now. My babies are just that. My kids can do whatever to my dogs. They take it and love it while taking it. Very protective in nature

My Boerboel just turned 1 and he is amazing. He has such a soft side he demonstrates when playing with my kids, loves blankets (he will literally carry them around in his mouth and then lay on them) but he is also completely fearless when it comes down to it.

I was on a walk with him on day and 2 loose pitbulls came after us. He protected me like no other that day. The pitbulls were circling us and he made sure he was between me and the pitbulls the whole time.

The bite forces of lie. It's a hell of a dog and a loyal and strong they fight off baboons and leopards in Africa but the fact is they don't have a harder bite force than a Kangol.
