UPDATE: Before you start, important note! Some devices have disabled the "local forwarding" setting in the capsman configuration template "datapath" tab. This tutorial assumes you have it checked. Some defices have different defaults, so just mark this checkbox to follow the steps in this tutorial. Local forwarding must be on!

When you have one MikroTik access point, but want to add another one to widen your coverage, follow this tutorial and use CAPsMAN to manage as many APs as you want.

Hi ! Thanks for this detailed explanation, this is just what I needed, after going over several miktorik manuals without understanding, whats what. I am not an expert, as you may recon by now. I followed your instruction step by step, but stucked at provisioning, as I don't see the internal wlan interface apearing on the "radio" tab. Any ideas, what I could have missed ?

I'm new on mikrotik. My configuration hAP AX2 and for an extension cAP ac. I watched all the videos regarding CAPsMAN, bu t I can't figured it out how to set it up in the ver 7.13.1. Sorry but it is not so simple for a new user... can you make a tutorial with the new hardware and versions, please.

You know, that they miss one step, that can influence if internet will be available or not, no matter if ping is good.

more than impossible to follow when the tutorial is behind the development of every new update. Either make new videos that fit to the firmware, or don't change everything in new updates.
Not a single setting is congruent to the 7.13 firmware, so within less than a year everything has changed. No chance to follow.
