Does Dyslexia Impact Emotionally? "Childhood was tough for me because so much of it is spent in school, where I felt like the "thick" one. I was constantly devalued by my grades, teachers, and peers. It was emotionally difficult. I'd lose entire days crying myself to sleep, knowing I'd be punished the next day and told I wasn't trying hard enough. It was really tough, to be honest."
