Met Mandy on a flight many years ago. I am an airline pilot and was in uniform, but deadheading as a passenger. She just started talking with me and I was surprised at how much she seemed to know about being an airline pilot. Anyway, she was quite friendly and very nice. Later on I found out her Dad was a captain for American Airlines, which would explain how she knew so much about being an airline pilot and why she might have been willing to strike up a conversation with me. Absolutely as lovely and gracious in person as she appears in the interviews.
