April rocked the auto industry...especially Toyota. Let's jump into which models are safe, and which are clinging for life.

Toyota does not have very good offers, lease deals are horrible. Lexus has way better deals and incentives.

Camry sales are down because Lexus ES have better APRs and incentives.

Yeah, except their prices don’t reflect any kind of slowdown in sales.

Here in India not a single car was sold in April...Things are not predictable, so it's better we don't speculate, but still pray n hope for the best.

I'll be sticking with my 2016 Prius. I love my car!

My boss wanted a highlander for her son. Toyota offered no incentives so they got a JGC instead. Despite the pandemic, customers are still out there and I understand the entire industry is struggling, but it’s up to the networks to work with people. No one is obviously saying give away free cars, but how Toyota treats potential customers will backfire.

Kirk, thank you for putting these videos out. Because of you, I was able to take advantage and lease a new IS 350 F sport for a ridiculously low monthly payment. The incentives were amazing in the beginning of April. Lexus paid for the remaining payments on my prior IS and got me into the new 2020. I’ve been advocating to my friends and family to take advantage of this situation we are all facing and get a great deal on these cars at this time. Keep up the good work.

Lexus has kept their rebates on the ES 350 F Sport at $2.5k for the past several months, and still stuck at 0.9% instead of 0%. Lexus trying to pretend they’re not hurting for sales. Wanting a certain color combo, USB Mica 2.0 with Circuit Red interior, but they are scarce. So the few dealerships that have them are price gouging. Found a dealership (after wasting time with 6 others) willing to give me an 18.6% discount off MSRP (rebate included), but so far they are unable to get other dealers to do a transfer. Being told if I do a factory order the car likely wouldn’t arrive until September, at which point I might as well wait and get a 2021 model with AWD and hopefully a pulled forward navigation screen that is a touchscreen.

These companies will find a way to squeeze every dime out of you. Wait until they are near bankrupt, then buy a car. It’s still too early. Give it a month or so.

It’s going to be about 2 to 3 years to recover in Europe where I am in the UK.
Fleet purchases will be down as companies pair back on buying but also reduced staffing and more remote working. That means less miles driven.
On the private side incomes will be stretched and car buying isn’t going to be number 1.
There will have to be deep discounting or big incentives to galvanise any sales.

I won’t be updating my RX450h anytime soon.

Since purchasing my new 2019 NX300 FSport, finding your channel is an awesome thing. I've owned many new prestige autos. I've got to say, Lexus is top notch. Their brand is everything I will ever need. LOVE your channel, and so glad I found it. I wish you much continued success!

I’m looking for Tundra TRD with crazy deal. After watched your video, I guess I need to wait longer to get crazy deal? I’m in Vancouver, BC and have seen TRD sitting in a lot for 5 months.

Kirk, we should be thinking about heading for the hills before the pole shift hits and everything goes to hell. Toyotas are the best cars to have when SHTF because they practically last forever especially the rough & tough land cruiser models sold in Australia, South Africa and the Middle East.

I'm just gonna keep driving my 96 Toyota Carina til it breaks down before I buy a new car.. which may be long time 😂

Toyota refuses to listen to the public's demand for change in their car lineups. Look at the Avalon, no all wheel drive, no panoramic roof, no real color choices and the ride is stiff.

There’s still a lot of units on hold due to some of these dealers not able to receive them. But they can’t stay on hold much longer if these dealers don’t start taking them they’ll probably divert them to other dealers then be SOL on inventory after they fully reopen.

Not only is Toyota not offering any great deals despite this slow down, they are not offering buyers any assurances that they will fix a known gas fill up problem with their best seller, the RAV4 Hybrid. Note there is a class action suit over this issue and some owners are suing for buybacks. In addition, some people like myself are not buying until they also address an issue where people are coming out to dead batteries. So, beyond the pandemic, Toyota is not living up to their excellent reputation. I’m waiting for Toyota to step up to the plate.
