If you don’t want to use expensive leave in conditioners, try Johnson’s baby lotion and water. It gives my hair a nice wavy sheen. There’s no buildup and no flaking and that’s why I use it. I use Honeysuckle fregrqnce or the Cotton scented one. It’s only like six or seven dollars for a large bottle. The wave and the shine pops all day. You don’t have to reapply it. There is never any buildup. It works so well, I can lay down my baby hair/edges and still no flaking and the hair stays down all day. Stay safe!
