the touch panel degrades water resistance... one by one touch button gets grounded making the machine act with lot of errors - thinking that someone is pressing/touching the button even if none.

We bought this piece of junk several years ago in white; many problem with this machine, first the water level never covers the clothes and the wash cycle starts with dry clothes sticking above the water level! You have to babysit the machine to make sure it does not become imbalanced or it will sit there with a "UE" error message completely stopped mid-cycle. Then the clothes swish around lightly so dirt is never removed. If you have heavily soiled items you will need an agitator machine, otherwise this is made for delicates with no strong dirt or smells.
