I seriously think this is one of Foster the People's best concerts. It gives them a whole new sound, and gives you a different look at their songs.

@Merlinmhc Mark Foster explained the song's meaning to Spinner UK: "Pumped Up Kicks' is about a kid that basically is losing his mind and is plotting revenge. He's an outcast". Mark also said "I feel like the youth in our culture are becoming more and more isolated"

If you haven't watched the movie "Bang Bang You're Dead", based on a play by the same name, I highly encourage you to watch it. This song is essentially the theme of the movie and it's all I can think about whenever I hear this song 🎵
