Показать описание

A tribute to the combined power of faith, this stirring song from the animated film ‘The Prince of Egypt’ seemed a perfect opportunity to invite our friends from the BYU Women’s Chorus to join us. Acting as the children of Israel singing a Hebrew prayer of gratitude, we sing, “In Your love, You lead the people You have redeemed.”

I’m a deployed soldier. I was looking for music to help me stay close to the spirit. I’ve listened to this song four times already and now found it on Spotify. It’s very lovely. Thank you all for your faith and the beautiful talent you share. Shout out to all the vocal talent and your amazing vocal percussionist.

Update. I’m home safe from my deployment. But because of this song and many of your others, I’m whole in body, mind and spirit. Thanks.

Amazing! Now all you NEED to do is pair up with BYU Vocal Point and sing a version of "Deliver Us" from Prince of Egypt!!!

This song really give me strength. Now our country (Myanmar) is under cruel dictatorship and people are fighting it and sacrificing their lives. As a Christian minority, we only have God and only He can help us.
Thank you so much for your cover song.

What a perfect message for the times we are in with the world-wide pandemic, especially on this global day of fasting and prayer. There CAN be miracles!

I got chills when y’all were marching together. An army of women who fear the Lord.

This is one of the best female versions I've watched... Please don't stop making more songs with this quality... May the Almighty bless you, your voices, and your families... Keep singing for the Lord, and inspire the world...

I can't stop listening to this. It's so beautiful, angelic, jaw-droppingly gorgeous, the list goes on and on. Even more incredible, just think- heaven sounds better than this. Like, wow. A beautiful blend of deeply motivational and deeply calming. Praise the Lord!

THAT WAS AMAZING!!! Growing up, Prince of Egypt was my favorite movie to watch. But listening to this song again in an a cappella version has made me love it all over again! Thank you to BYU Noteworthy for doing this song!!! God bless each and every one of you!

"Wonderful" is usually a misused word (the object not meriting the praise of wonder), but it is entirely fitting for this. Aside from that statement, I'm at a loss for words. To Noteworthy, and everyone else who worked to make this happen, thank you!

I've heard this song performed by other groups and of course in the movie, but this is my favorite by far. The soloists voices are so perfect. Having this performed by a group of young women helped the words to reach my heart and think about what miracles I can achieve. Thank you!

Lyrics
Girl 1:

Many nights we prayed
With no proof anyone could hear
In our hearts a hope for a song
We barely understood

Now we are not afraid
Although we know there's much to fear
We were moving mountains
Long before we knew we could,

There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
Its hard to kill

Who knows what miracles
You can achieve
When you believe somehow you will
You will when you believe

Girl 2:
In this time of fear
When prayer so often seemed in vain

Hope seems like the summer bird
So swiftly flown away
Yet now I'm standing here (Girl 1: Now I'm standing here.)
My hearts so full, I can't explain

Both Girls:

Seeking faith and speakin' words
I never thought I'd say

There can be miracles
When you believe

Girl 2:

Though hope is frail
Its hard to kill (Girl 1: It's hard to kill.)

Both Girls:

Who knows what miracles
You can achieve

When you believe somehow you will
You will when you believe

(Thank you to Linden Hatton for this!)

Girl 3:
A-shir-ra I'a-do-nai ki ga-oh ga-ah

(I will sing to the Lord for He has triumphed gloriously)

A-shir-ra I'a-do-nai ki ga-oh ga-ah

(I will sing to the Lord for He has triumphed gloriously)
Mi-cha-mo-cha ba-e-lim adonai

(Who is like You, oh Lord, among the celestials)

Mi-ka-mo-cha ne-dar-ba-ko-desh
(Who is like You, majestic in holiness)

Na-chi-tah v'-chas-d'-cha am zu ga-al-ta

(In Your love, You lead the people You redeemed)

Na-chi-tah v'-chas-d'-cha am zu ga-al-ta

(In Your love, You lead the people You redeemed)

All Girls:
There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
Girl 2: Its hard to kill (Girl 1: It's hard to kill.)
Who knows what miracles
You can achieve

When you believe somehow you will
Now you will
You will when you believe

Girl 1: You will when you believe.

The Prince Of Egypt (When You Believe) lyrics

Album: When you believe

Many nights we've prayed.
With no proof anyone could hear.

In our hearts a hopeful song
We barely understood,
Now we are not afraid
Although we know there's much to fear
We were moving mountains
Long before we knew we could...

*Chorus*
There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
It's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles
You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
You will when you believe

In this time of fear
When prayer so often proved in vain
Hope seemed like the summer birds
Too swiftly flown away
Yet now I'm standing here
With heart so full I can't explain
Seeking faith and speaking words
I never thought I'd say

*Chorus*
There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
Its hard to kill
Who knows what miracles
You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
You will when you believe

*Middle part*
A-shir-ra I'a-do-nai ki ga-oh ga-ah
(I will sing to the Lord for He has triumphed gloriously)
A-shir-ra I'a-do-nai ki ga-oh ga-ah

Mi-cha-mo-cha ba-e-lim adonai
(Who is like You, oh Lord, among the celestials)
Mi-cha-mo-cha ne-dar-ba-ko-desh
(Who is like You, majestic in holiness)
Na-chi-tah v'-chas-d'-cha am zu ga-al-ta
(In Your love, You lead the people You redeemed)
Na-chi-tah v'-chas-d'-cha am zu ga-al-ta
(In Your love, You lead the people You redeemed)
A-shi-ra, a-shi-ra, A-shi-ra
A-shir-ra I'a-do-nai ki ga-oh ga-ah
(I will sing to the Lord for He has triumphed gloriously)
A-shir-ra I'a-do-nai ki ga-oh ga-ah
(I will sing to the Lord for He has triumphed gloriously)
Mi-cha-mo-cha ba-e-lim adonai
(Who is like You, oh Lord, among the celestials)
Mi-cha-mo-cha ne-dar-ba-ko-desh
(Who is like You, majestic in holiness)
Na-chi-tah v'-chas-d'-cha am zu ga-al-ta
(In Your love, You lead the people You redeemed)
Na-chi-tah v'-chas-d'-cha am zu ga-al-ta
(In Your love, You lead the people You redeemed)
A-shi-ra, a-shi-ra, A-shi-ra

*Chorus*
There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
Its hard to kill
Who knows what miracles
You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will

Now you will
You will when you believe...

You will when you believe

There are but few verses in the Bible that I abide by.
"Above all else love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sin"

Be kind. Be loving. Be forgiving of others. Be fearless.

Jesus Christ said three things on the cross.

Asked why God had forsaken him, showing that although life was created by God not all things are of God - for example the unjust and evils of him being tortured and nailed to the cross.

Secondly, He asked God to forgive them because they don't know what they have done - to teach that forgiveness, out of love, has no boundaries & can reach very deep. And also that people who don't know love on the deepest level do not fully understand when they do something harmful, if they did they would not allow themselves to do it.

Lastly, Jesus, in all his sacrifice, suffering, & his last dying breath, offered one more gift to the world.... His mother's love. The most charming and sweetest thing. And might I add daring and heartbreaking... The strength of Mary who also made the biggest sacrifice that day. As she watched her own flesh, her baby boy...give his entire heart & soul to the entire world. Going down in history. To be known & adored by children 10, 000 years onward.

You guys this is what actually happened. You don't need a Bible to understand Jesus Christ. That was just a way for his name to travel thru history.

He's the man. He's the King.

Love & light of the world.

-✝️♥️

Such an amazing Soul Jesus Christ is.
