How to Be a Good English Teacher

I talk about how to be a good English (ESL/EFL) teacher and the difference between being a real teacher and creating English learning videos for social media.

My channel is for English learners, but I made this video because I realized that many of my followers are English teachers themselves, and they often say things like "You are the best teacher," or "How can I be a good teacher like you?"

I m teaching English for 8 years in Turkey. I m 29 now. I realized in these passing years that Students/Learner attitudes and having a goal for learning any language are really important factors. I have worked in different schools having enthusiastic parents to childrens learning process, they were successful, learnt fast, had fun in lesson, were careful about language structure, even, asking questions about grammar despite being children. Anyway, this is the student factor in teaching.

Besides, I should emphasize that to be a good teacher you should develop your teaching skills by watching and analyzing different teachers from different countries. You should also meet them you should use the language. You should make projects about learning and teaching. This is up to you and the opportunities that your government provide to you if you want to do something about yourself, you should have good economic situation. Travel to another countries.

You can also attend some training such as Tesol/Celta ….
