They were all lovely, but in my opinion, the most beautiful one was the one from the 1940s. The material was gorgeous, the lines are beautiful, the way that it drapes you and still manages to look elegant even though it's fairly simple. I would wear that in a heartbeat!

When I was in high school I struggled finding a dress that fit what I wanted. My mom showed me my grandma's wedding dress and I absolutely fell in LOVE. It was a 70s wedding dress with that free, cottage-y vibe I wanted. It didn't even need any alterations, which is good because since it is such a special dress, I didn't want to have it changed at all.

Don’t forget the endless last 20 years of virtually nothing but strapless dresses and see-through corsets which finally gave way to the return of sleeves in many designs over the past few years❤

it’s funny that you mention that in the 60’s they ‘move away’ from the traditional white wedding dress style! one might say they even become more traditional since the white wedding dress became popular because of Queen Victoria! but they used to be more colorful, and in many other cultures they still are! also, love the dresses that you showed, very fun silhouettes!! have a great day 😊
