Glad to see that younger generation of gamers recognized Mazda RX7 as the best one in NFSU1 :) Online mode was crazy as everyone mostly raced with RX7s, MX5s and Integra Type R.

I can't believe that Peugeot 206, one of the the starter car of this game can make better.

Last year decided to play again this game and beat it with the 206 because its my first car in real life, and it just felt amazing, i discovered that if you downshift before the turn it triggers some rubberbanding like the IA. Great content! Always i thought why no one did this type of videos because i spent a lot of hours doing it by myself.

Yeah the RX7 is my favorite car in this game too it's just so badass and even though it doesn't sound like a rotary it still has that threatening sound that you know is gonna be fast and my god that down shift on this car when you slow down for corners is just demonic and just purrs. The Miata is my second favorite car and that car is so much faster then it should be and sounds badass too

It's hilarious how in both Underground 1 and 2, starter cars are MUCH better than mid-game and late-game cars. The more you progress, the shittier the cars get.

Nice vid, NFS-U was one of the first games I played ever and I didn't pay much attention to such a details and thought cars are pretty much the same. Now I see how skilled driver ranks them

Very nice video, I can tell that you've put a lot of effort in it just by how different the visual tuning of each car is. Also, a little touches like the song name overlay in Underground UI style don't go unnoticed :) My favourite car is a Honda Integra with stage 2, 5-speed transmission, its such a joy to drive both in game and IRL - it has some serious legacy on Tsukuba circuit. At one point I was seriously considering getting myself one of these as a daily driver. Both the game and the car shall never be forgotten, there will be no other quite like it!

the integra with stage 1 drivetrain provides the best driving experience though, the acceleration is insane despite the top speed is 283kmh but youre always on the limiter

I am now replaying the classic Black Box NFS titles and started Underground with a Miata. I'm about 75 % of the way through and refuse to let go of it. I just can't lol.

Amazing how many of the supposedly endgame-grade cars that show a maxxed top speed stat in the garage are way down at the bottom of the order

My 350Z is set up specifically to drift in non drift events, it's really good at it and it's really fun. You can make any car drift on city tracks if you don't do suspension upgrades, stock tires help but it's mainly suspension and of course stability control off. Problem is the higher ride height makes the want to flip over so for a skinny car like the 240SX its terrible DX. The wide body might help it tho I haven't actually tested that

I remembered playing with the supra when i had a ps2 in 2006 i think and getting frustrated with losing so many races
I never finished the game then and now i am playing it with 206 and i love it

Everyone and I mean everyone knows that the best overall car in the game is the Nissan Skyline. Its base stats alone trump many tuned cars and its the only car in the game to give you an automatic early start/lead.

I have a feeling that if you added in the Engine + Turbo unique upgrades from the career, the RX-7 and the 206 would be closer

I always thought the Mazda MX-5 is one of the best and chose it or the Honda Civic as starter car. I agree, the MX-5 has lots of wheelspin in later stages and is not that easy to handle in drift races. Very interesting video I considered to do this myself but well, it takes some time, so thank you for the comparison.
