One possibility is to pull the normal bed and build a custom bed. Can build it so it overhangs a few inches on each side for extra space and a slop to the end to make loading easier. If you do a custom build a bar above the cab you can mount a winch on would let you pull items onto the back.

Would let you store the original bed until you sell the truck or see if the bed is worth selling.

The Kitchen Aid Mixer is worth fixing...the parts are available through Kitchen Aid...they do carry a 2 yr warranty..you can find out how old the mixer is by the serial number. I know its a heavy item to ship but locally its worth at least $125 running...and of course if you cannibalize it might be worth more. Just My 6th Cents Worth ( : BTW Love your videos! I love seeing a hard working family man make something out of nothing at all! Good On Ye!

CVT transmissions are only designed to pull the vehicle weight - not to tow. I would reconsider installing a hitch on your Saturn.

if your truck has a hitch on the back can you possibly make a "T" shaped platform that plugs into the hitch and sticks out past your tailgate when down? with a smooth plywood top that would give you a lower level to tilt your big items up on then flip them into the bed? those hitches hold like 600 pounds or something and even extended out it should hold up your couple hundred pound ACs and stuff youre platform wouldnt even have to be very big, just a foot or so square, big enough to catch the corner of a fridge or AC to give you a higher level to flip them into the truck with. not as good as a for 5 grand savings id think id learn to love it! LOL

Great video. I cringed when you bought that Saturn. Not one of the better made vehicles in history. We have the exact same mixer and I had to fix ours today. They are easy to work on. You should be able to get it working. Don't forget to pull the plug on it, I zapped myself today

You need a 5x10 trailer for scrap pickup (1) you wont wreck your truck (2) ya don't have to unload it right away (3) There low to the ground and you can fit more shit in it
