Christianity is a minority religion in Israel, and most Jews consider the New Testament as a religious text of a different faith. Not many know that a Jewish person can be Jewish and believe in Jesus and that it is a natural expression of Jewish life and faith.
Additionally, Jewish religious education and study focus primarily on the Hebrew Bible and rabbinic literature, leaving little room for the study of Christian scriptures. As a result, most Israelis have limited knowledge of the New Testament and its teachings.
This is why we share the New Testament with our Jewish brothers and sisters, introducing them to the real Jesus that came first for the Jewish people to reconcile them back to God according to Scripture.

My heart leaps for joy to see the gospel preached in such a simple way on the streets of Israel as it was preached in my native Dominican Republic in the 1980s. It is like seeing the gospel return to his land, as if Jesus himself spoke to people about him again.
