UPDATE: I just wanted to add that the Sport have a very minimal amount of body-bourne noise when running. The momentum 3 have A LOT and I would not recommend them when running.

Two things are most important to me. 1. sound 2. fit. My #1 pet peeve is when an earbud drops out. If the M3 fit/security is an 8, there are many buds out there that are a 5 at best.

I love the amount of detail you go into on the sound quality, which is the thing that matters the most. Nearly every other earphone reviewer spends 99% of their videos going on about the packaging and features, then gives the briefest mention of sound quality at the end.

The amount of Bass you can get out the Momentum TW 3 is insane. You can easily EQ them to be Bass cannons.

I could use 1st and 2nd generation Apple AirPods from one of my family members..From the moment that I could also get my pair of CXPlus's I realized the sound quality was so much better than Airpods..With it's customizable EQ settings I immediately fell in love with it..
It's a little bit bulky looking for my ears but fits so well..Hope to try momentum 3 soon and so happy with the purchase❤

Great video. Thank you! I think Sennheiser SPORT is better, but it is in-ear type and there are safety hazards when used outdoors. Open-ear headphones are recommended for outdoor sports. They are safer and healthier. I am using the Wissony Hi Runner Bone conduction headphones myself. They are open-ear headphones. Their performance is very powerful and can be used in many scenes, such as running, swimming, boating, cycling, hiking, etc.

Excellent analisis. I am very happy with my CX Plus that I found in Amazon months ago for 90 €. ANC is not great but sound quaility is absolutely amazing. Regards from Spain.

SENNHEISER SPORT TRUE WIRELESS earbuds is a gret piece for cheap. I bought a brand new for $40. After 3 years, no complaint at all.

What are the best earbuds you've tested?

Thanks for posting this James! During the Fall Amazon Prime Event I was going to go with the Sennheiser Sports for some new gym buds, but then I saw that the CX Plus Special Editions were going for $89 - a full ten bucks LESS than the Sports! Ideally I wouldn't mind getting the Momentum 3's, but I'm poor. 😂😬

senny TW earbuds tend to break after a few months/a year... they might have addressed the problem, but I have lost quite the bit of confidence about them lasting...

While TWM3 is built for the highest possible music quality, the Sport is, well, for sports. Not exactly the same thing

Still loving my MTW3! Thanks for another great one, Picky! 👍

hey, what TWS do you think DO block out most of the surrounding's noise? one cannot google for noise isolation anymore as all one gets is noise cancellation promo :D atb and great detail in the reviews

anyway you can cram the wing tips from the sport buds on to the TWM3? i really like my TWM3's but for skiing need the wing tips to avoid losing one in the snow.

Shoutout for oddly referring to specific genres like Hardstyle and Dubstep, I listen and produce both genres and both require such good bass response to sound good that reviewers always broadly describe in generic "EDM" terms that usually don't help. It's highly appreciated, good comparison and big thumbs up!
