So the fed/ ss underreacts when needed and overreacts when not needed. Saved you a few minutes.

I was 2 cars behind them when the Secret Service swarmed the vehicle. They were leaving, not bothering anyone as far as I could tell. That's just from my perspective.

Really they left their guns in the car when they went to the event? Just like how many other people did?? There must be more to this than just finding guns.

Because gun owning citizens left their guns in their car. It meant they meant harm? This level of ignorance cannot be real.

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, that you would find anyone in the Carolinas with guns in their cars.
Not!

For those who don't know, your vehicle is treated as your home. Having a firearm in your vehicle is equivalent to having a firearm in your own home.

Maybe they were plotting something, but we shouldn't just assume that they were. Firearms are carried lawfully by millions of people.

Let's be cautious that we don't normalize assuming that people carrying firearms are intending to engage in a crime. The statistics just don't bear that out.

*Update*
Turns out I was wrong. I was just repeating what the business I purchased my firearm had told me, but after people mentioned I was wrong I looked more into it and I'm pretty sure my initial statement wasn't accurate.
Obviously, please look into your local laws as each state will handle this differently.
Thanks for everybody who called it out.
