Nurses also work long hours, do they get to park illegally like the cops?

3 stooges who haven’t been harassed by police. If I park in a loading zone to run in for a coffee after my shift they are towing my car and giving me a ticket. The guy in the middle of the couch is the biggest fake tough guy on the planet.

3 idiots on a couch, better known as couch potaoes . The cop was in the wrong, video or no video, if he can't walk 10 extra feet to get a donut, the job isn't for him . Illegally parked is Illegally parked know matter who you are . If he didn't get it on video, they would tell him to prove the cop was in the wrong . Their just upset because it was caught on video .

Working a long shift is no excuse for anybody to illegally park. Cops should be the very first ones to lead by example and abide by the laws they enforce.

I've worked many 12 hour days... Waited in line like everyone else. And still managed to be kind to people and not break laws like I'm above anyone. Spineless news reporters.

Nobody is above the law so quit making excuses for them.

.... It's the citizen's fault for "USING THE WRONG TONE" So the officer isn't wrong at all !!! Amazing how things get twisted now !!

No EXCUSE for police to respond that way. NONE. She is immature and should not be on the squad. More than inappropriate!

People like this tv host are the reasons why some cops act the way they act.

Even if the man did have a “tone” it doesn’t mean anything. The cops were also defending their actions even though they were in the wrong. The female cop also kept on talking and couldn’t put her ego in check. She also called the guy “bro” and then flipped him the finger because clearly her feelings were hurt. Anyone else who did this would be disciplined or fired by their HR department. Cops are not above the law!

Respect is earned not given. If you want Respect then you have to give Respect. Plus officers are not above the law. They work for us.

I have questions.
If a private citizen works 10 to 12 hours are they allowed to park illegally?
Why are the police above the law?
They should lead by example and not by authority, that is the basics of good leadership skills! Then to give the person the middle finger shows that officer's disdain for the the private sector.

I think it’s ridiculous how these breakfast hosts defend the police in this situation. The two police officers parked in an illegal parking zone and then flipped the middle finger after getting called out. Try doing that to a cop and see what they do. You’ll probably get a fine or get charged with disorderly conduct. I’m sure the cops could have found a drive-through to get their coffee somewhere in the city of Toronto without having to park their car. Cops are not above the law and should learn to put their egos in check.
