Police seek public assistance in Prowl by Night Investigation, Dundas Street East and Leslie Street

he Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying a man involved in a prowl by night investigation.

It is reported that:

- a man has been targeting various residences in the Dundas Street East and Leslie Street area, also known as the Leslieville area

- the man is in the area in the evening into the early hours of the morning

- security camera footage shows the man travelling on a bicycle, on a few occasions

The man is described as a 30 to 35 years old, medium build, clean shaven, bald. He was wearing a hoodie sweatshirt, knee length sports shorts with stripes on the side, black socks, and casual footwear.

Dec 04, 2022 around 8:20~8:40 PM in Leslieville, there were a guy at my back door and I heard somebody tried to open my door. and I ran out yelled at him why he was in my door and he said he was looking for other street?? he was very werid. he was wearing a hoody top and around 175~178 cm and he was cover his head with hoody and he ran so fast so I couldn't see his face. it was dark color hoody top and baggie pants. he speak fluent english (no accent)and he voice sounds like a white man. I yelled at him and he was very shocked and walked so fast.

A Bald white guy tried to break I to my side window in March 2014 in Leslieville. He rang the doorbell at 10am on a week day and when I didn't answer cuz I was on a call, he went around the side and cut the screen on a small window and shifted the open window aside. I went downstairs cuz I heard the window move and surprised him in the act and he ran. I called the police and made a report. I'm not saying it's him, cuz i only saw him for few seconds and I don't remember what he looked like but he was bald and white. Lock your doors and ground floor windows at all times folks.

Bill Ostrander also wanted a previous renter of his farmhouse whacked because the guy moved out and left the furnace oil tank empty, apparently it was full when the renter moved in, he asked me to do it, I said I didn't want to get involved, but ya, he wanted the guy whacked over tank of furnace oil

Bill Ostrander was also stalking Greg Staddon in June, July, and August of 2021, the pick up truck he was in can be seen in the video footage from the value village parking lot on Dundas st London Ontario beside Parkway motel

So he tried to get someone to answer the door? And when no one did, he left? I'm sorry but isn't there better things to be looking for? Seems to me this guy maybe just was cold and wanted to see if someone could let him inside to warm up? Like seriously, how is this a crime? He is not looking in windows, nor is he trespassing by night as he is in the part of the property which he has colour of right to go to the front door and knock...
