What is the difference between the Zero to ASIC course, and the TinyTapeout one?

You have me very interested. I'm curious, for a relatively simple chip, something on the level of complexity of a 6502, if I were to submit a design to a chip fabrication service, approximately how expensive would it be for tooling and per unit?

For example, if I were to get an injection molded part made, the tooling may cost $10, 000 and then the part may cost $1 per unit after that. What are the ballpark ranges for how much a simple chip fabrication in a relatively low quantity would cost?

Hi, I have some question about join the online program. I am a validation engineer, I have just been transferred to apps team. I always wanted to learn what those designers are doing. but I have a 2 month old child at home. I live in China, I do use VPN and my company uses its own VPN. so the course is accessible to me. I guess my question is am I able to get my chip made and shipped?
also, what does this $50 + P&P, P&P mean?

Am I missing something, or is this at min 650$? Pricing things you've worked on is fine, but it's disingenuous not to mention the price in the video just to funnel people through a newsletter. 👎
