I put a power drive I pilot bow mount on my kayak 15yrs ago, no idea why people never thought of it. I cut the shaft so it’s maybe 30”

Wow. It has a anchoring pole. What if that thing flip? Seem like a lot of electronic would be destroyed. I remember they flip easily.

They are like $620 I really want to get one as it would make it hands free for me and i can fish on the front of my john boat. Curious to know if my Newport kayak trolling motor will work with this. I suspect it would there's no reason why it wouldn't. Also How long would installation take? EDIT: Nevermind i just checked the compatibility chart and my newport kayak trolling motor is listed on there horray.

Could this work with an Edge? They have a pedal not a hand powered design like those. Or is it designed to be able to spin around as much as it needs to where it won’t work on a pedal style
