Kobe brought justice to the younger generation that missed Jordan’s prime this is in itself a masterpiece and he will always be cherished and missed

After hearing of Kobe’s passing, this hurts to watch

I love the 3 point shots that curry makes but these fadeaways will always be the most gorgeous shot to me. Everything from the positioning yourself in the post, the footwork, to the turn around and release is what i would practice these shots all day as a kid.

In the midst of this blasphemous argument that Kahwi is the closest thing to Jordan, I came here to remind myself who the real carbon copy is. The black mamba.

Rest in peace Kobe. It was an awesome feeling watching you play all those years. You will always be missed and remembered.

Phil Jackson:
"One of the biggest differences between the two stars from my perspective was Michael's superior skills as a leader.. Though at times he could be hard on his teammates, Michael was masterful at controlling the emotional climate of the team with the power of his presence. Kobe had a long way to go before he could make that claim. He talked a good game, but he'd yet to experience the cold truth of leadership in his bones, as Michael had (Jackson noted the "pronounced" difference in their accuracy, Jordan shooting almost 50% — an "extraordinary figure" — while Bryant had been at 45%). No question, Michael was a tougher, more intimidating defender. He could break through virtually any screen and shut down almost any player with his intense, laser-focused style of defense."

Kobe is great. MJ is great. I leave it at that and thank them for spoiling us with their careers.

Some people say that Kobe copied MJ. I have 2 things to say to that:
1. Kobe did add some things to his game. Learning from great players isn't a bad thing either.
2. If you're able to copy what MJ does, that's not something many people can do.

Kobe is the closest thing we have seen to MJ, but there is only one Jordan.
