People saying Kobe is the GOAT just don’t know ball. To start, Kobe Bryant holds the most missed shots in NBA history, he has 5 rings, one mvp and 36k points, all in 20 seasons, on the other hand, Michael Jordan made 32K points in his 15 YEARS career, created all the moves Kobe used during his career, averaged 37ppg, has 6 rings, 5 MVPs, 10 scoring titles and is considered the greatest scorer after Wilt Chamberlain. MJ wasn’t a good playmaker, but unlike Kobe, Jordan was not afraid to pass the ball in critical conditions, unlike Kobe who would do a half court with 5 defenders on him down 1 in a game 7 finals. MJ had a better mentality then Kobe, MJ had that killer instinct that made his opponents fear him, treat him like black Jesus etc, Kobe on the other hand, just named his mentality « mamba mentality » and it made people think that he had a better mentality. I’m not done, the only time Kobe really beat Michael in a match, Jordan was 40. Which leads me to another topic, Kobe averaged 17ppg at 37, while Jordan 21 at 40. The reason why a lot of people call Kobe the GOAT is because he died but the problem is a lot of people saying he’s the goat probably didn’t even know him before his death. Even Kobe said that Jordan is the greatest, he had to give MJ credits for stealing his moves. Last topic, Shaquille O’Neal played vs Jordan and vs Kobe, and still, Shaq said that « what he saw from Michael was something he never seen in anybody else ». It’s okay to say Kobe is you’re favorite player, but there can only be one GOAT. RIP KOBE🐍
