Great Review and thanks for posting! I installed PowerStop towing brakes Z36 pads and rotors on the front of my 1997 GMC K1500 suburban a few years back and the stopping power is the best I ever had on this truck. Note, that my K1500 only has disk Brakes on the front, so the rear are drums..

this is the only REAL review I've been able to find on these brakes, going to give them a shot on my 2007 Sequoia Limited. Thanks!

I've got the same setup, due to larger, heaver tires, upgraded to 33x12.5 from stock, and I cannot say enough good things about these rotors and pads! Bed them in properly and you're set. If you're towing, or lifted with beefier tires, you can't go wrong!!

At 4:20 the rust is from the caliper metal which has lost its paint where the caliper touches the brake pad. That break pad has stainless steel shim plate on the outside of the pad. So it isn’t the pad which is rusting. Just wanted to share that because you mentioned you weren’t sure which.

I just installed those on my f150 last week (april 2019) So far I love them. I have not did any towing yet. But I do have an RV that I'll be pulling in June. so that will be the real test.

Have them on my 06 Ranger going on 2 years now could not be more pleased with them. No dust, no noise, great stopping power and they look good too all that for under $300 when they finally wear out I will buy again.

Lmfao!!! Bro…”jackwagon” that’s hilarious, my mom use to say that. Miss those days some good times gone by. Anyhooser, hopefully the brakes will be just as good on my stang. Just bought them and looking at the box contemplating a 2am brake job 🤙

Thanks for the updated review. I have been going back and forth with buying these as I live in New England and was curious as to how these would hold up under our horrible winters. They look to be holding up fine and I will purchase some for my 2015 F150 this week.

Powerstop also has coated rotors for those of you who live in rust prone areas(salted roads).

Oh, and don't forget the rear wheel well liners to protect from mud and salt. Great $100 buy!

I saw you spin across the screen on your little wheelie chair and I immediately subscribed that is hilarious

Have to love the Chicago winters! I also live on the southwest suburbs of Chicago. I always paint my rotors . I Tape off the surface and paint the cooling fins and drilled portion of my rotors. I use Eastwood’s 2k aerospray. It holds up extremely well and you will be happy with the results. It’s extra work but well worth it!

Good channel, I like it! Thanks for the review man! I just put the powerstops on my 2017 f250 regular cab. Only about 300 miles on them. I’m interested to see how they hold up in a Western New York winter with lots of plowing. I haven’t towed with it yet, but I tow a 14’ dump trailer and a 7x14 enclosed. Can’t wait to put the powerstops to the test for myself! I plan on putting them on my ‘17 crew cab too!!
