wait a Minute, the Kinder happy hippo is definetly Not japanese. They are from Germany! I Always ate them as a kid. the Kinder Company in generell is german. Kinder means children in english, that is because They produce sweets for children, for example the Kinder schokolade (Kinder chocolate) was one of the first products of them. as a kid i always got a package of them from the old aunts at a family party... :)
