We had same problem here in upstate NY in three of our local towns (all considered conservative towns) - Granville, Argyle, Hartford - all three polling sites went down. We discovered this when arriving at polling place around 6PM and were told not to bother going to the neighboring towns because theirs were down as well. Most people in our 3 towns are actual working class folks who get home between 5-6p - which is when the lines usually form at polling places.
