WHAT IS THIS?
This is an film essay about suspense in Hitchcock films, as a complementary work to a written essay about the same topic for the course in History of Moving Image, degree in Media Studies, UC3M.
The intention is to combine shots from suspenseful scenes of different Hitchcock films, editing them in a way that suspense increases progressively until the climax at the end.
Even if they are from different movies, they work together as a suspenseful sequence because they use similar techniques to produce this effect and because, even if suspense is closely related to the film narratives, there's something in them that creates suspense regardless of the context in which they are watched.
