In life you have to learn how to pick yourself back up. Resilience creates destiny. At the end of the day I want to live my life in peace and express my heart in its completeness.
There’s a growing body of research which supports intentional breathing as an intervention that may help to reduce cardiometabolic risks in adults and stimulate the vagus nerve. This is beneficial in establishing cues the brain inteinterprets as safety, which assists in down regulating emotional reactivity. Intentional breathing also activates brain regions like the prefrontal cortex, which are associated with impulse control and reasoning. It’s always advisable to check in with your healthcare provider before beginning a new physical activity like intentional breathing.
