why did u equate the equation to zero in the 3rd question? I plugged it into desmos without equating and it got me the same results.

Please is it possible to copy the question from the bluebook app and paste it in the desmos calculator?
Secondly, how do you quickly put the second power? Is there a shortcut to write the second power without having to open the onscreen typing panel?

Can someone please tell me how to solve these types of questions.
I bet theres a pattern but I am not able to understand it from anywhere. Please help it would mean a lot. This is from the mathematics analyzer btw.
