Isn't the next step mentioned somewhere in Star Wars, goes something like this: "The beatings will continue until morale improves"? Honestly though. I totally agree that extrinsic motivation, while helpful to a certain limited degree in the short term is well outdated now. Intrinsic motivation is often stifled. IMO the stifling of intrinsic motivation is no different indirect removal of free will to a LARGE degree and needs to be done away with entirely... Great Video!
