I think most TT owners know these things because we all have that enthusiasm about the car you have . It's nice to see

Those rear compartments were primarily created for a first aid kit and 6disc cd changer. Both of which I have in my version of the mk1

The middle visor works great for blocking the sun, i love this feature .Also the compartment in the back normally hold a first aid kit and the other one hinds a cd changer.

Yep, knew all of these. Mentioned dwarf sun visor on another video like this recently... had the same on my B6 A4 Avant and my '94 Honda Legend coupe. The cubby at the back on the left has a 6 disc changer on mine.
There are more dimples on the bottom of the door pulls.

One handy feature that isn't obvious is the ability to roll the windows up and down using the key fob. Helpful in tight parking spaces. Roll the window down before getting out press the lock button then keep it held down to roll the windows up.

My Brother in law had a couple of TTs. When he became a father he was determined not to give it up. He even went as far as getting a roof box for it which was almost as big as the car itself. He finally relented when he had a second child and swapped it for a Disco 3.

I have a fully loaded 3.2 dsg mk1, the rear cubby on the left is for a CD changer!

My 2006 A4 B7 Avant had that third sun visor - always found it useful to fill that gap. My W124 coupe has one too!

If you do loose all of your 4 car keys (yep originally 4) or broken there is still a way to open the trunk. Open the hatch were you can place the 8n OEM cupholder there is sting inside that you can pull forward.
I have only owned one Audi TT, the 1999 model without the spoiler. Bought is more than 18 years ago and and I am now over 340K km (211K miles). Also have the OEM roof rack very nice design, although a bit delicate.

Had a 225 Quattro coupe then a 3.2 Quattro roadster. Fantastic cars especially the 3.2 . Oh, and 5/5 for me. Keep it up Joel.

I think everyone knew this. I had the roadster version, which has loads of secret little things going on in it, like the central console that contains a cable which releases the boot, for one example, another is the fuse board delete trick which means you can lower or raise the roof at any speed (not recommended!) but there are loads of weird things about this car. I miss her.

Look again carefully at the number of design feature dimples in the trim items you mentioned. 7s and 8s.

I didn't know any of them facts Joel...I love just watching how much you LOVE this car ....I don't think i've ever seen anyone happier with their auto purchase. And its all genuine emotion which always comes across in all your videos.

Storage cubby in the back usually houses a multi-cd changer 😊

Audi made its own branded car detailing products. Interior cleaner, car wash, leather conditioner, etc. They all came in bottles that had grey plastic trim rings around the tops of the bottles that feared the same dimple design as the air vents. Even though none of their other cars had these dimples on any of their appointments, the car care products they sold reflected their design tour de force… the TT.

I’m new to Audi TTs like you, I found out all of these, I bought a 180 FWD in black around the same time as you. I’ve been watching your vids I’m a new subscriber. In the back of mine I have a first aid kit and a cd multi changer. Porsches also have the 3rd sun visor except in the Cayenne it’s a 5th, the traditional visors pull out and across the top of the doors then the 3rd and 4th can replace them in the windscreen. Regarding the rear seats there is plenty of leg room up front so the rear seats can be used in a pinch (literally).
I’ve learned a lot from ParoTT Bros on YT very passionate about mk1 TTs including the window reset, radio code programming and much more.

Not a TT lover but glad you're enjoying it so much!

My ‘02 Golf had that exact same visor in the middle. One thing I’ve heard is that they are to stop the glare from the reading lights reflecting off the rear view mirror. Not sure if it’s true or not. Guess it could also act as another visor to block the sun in that area
