Damn, and I still remember in October 2012 when my father installed the Operative System on my computer, so many memories.

windows 8's start menu is nostalgic for me as i grew up with it. i even own two windows 8 computers which has broke, i have one thats in my room near the wall, its an all in one pc and i remember playing roblox on it alot.

I hate how many people say that the Logon Sound is the startup sound. But I am finaly glad Ive found the person with the right Startup sound

Wow. So Windows 10 took most of its system sound inspiration (and system sound files) from Windows 8.
In all honesty, I hope they include new sound packs with future version updates. As it stands for now, I'm going to be using Windows XP sounds for the OS. (I also use Windows 95's Startup sound for startup.)

So it turns out the notify sound is actually used, it's used in the audio troubleshooter, but isn't otherwise employed
