How to pair Oticon Bluetooth® hearing aids to TV Adapter 3.0

This video will show you how to pair your Oticon Bluetooth® hearing aids to TV Adapter 3.0, to stream sound wirelessly from your TV to your hearing aids.

the hearing aids work as intended by design, as the television uses a different Bluetooth standard compared to the hearing aids.

Your TV uses traditional Bluetooth, the one used in all commercial devices.
More hearing aids use the BLE Bluetooth Low Energy, which is a newer Bluetooth standard used mostly in the medical sector. The BLE was the preferred choice as it allows for more efficient use of the energy, and therefore a longer lasting use also in very tiny devices such as hearing aids.

This is the reason an accessory is needed.

In addition, the TV adapter allows for two outputs: you will be able to stream the audio from the tv to the tv-adapter to your hearing aids, and at the same time other people in the room can hear will still be able to hear the television sound if they wish (which is not possible with traditional Bluetooth and without TV-adapter).rt

Easy enough to do. Too bad you have to do it every day. I just did it again this morning. TVAdapter is here sitting next to my PC, no more than two feet from my hearing aids and my ears. I thought they were supposed to pair automatically once paired?

Both my wife and I use oticon more, can we both connect with tv adapter at the same time?

I have just bought the Oticon TV adapter version 3 today. I have an optical lead connected to the TV and I am also using the phono lead which is connected to my PC, however, when the TV is on, it overrides the phono connection... How do I switch between the two ports without having to unplug the optical lead? Thanks
