I have only one hearing aid and I don’t want to hands free calls, how can I pair but only for remote control and no for had free calls

The Companion App says my Oticon Hearing Aids (maybe 5-6 years old) are not compatible and the old Oticon On App does not work anymore. My Audioligist stop either working with Oticon are got out of the business. She was in Texas and I am now in Florida. How do I get my aids to connect with the App. These issues should have been solved before releasing the app.

I tried to pair my hearing Aid with the Oticon companion app and it says my hearing aid is not compatible with the App. I have Oticon hearing Aid. it is older, like at least 5 years old, and it is still working great. The problem is a cannot pair my hearing aid with the new up. What should I do.?

Everytime she puts them in in the morning we have to raise the volume on both sides. How can the settings be saved?

Agree, the companion is almost worthless. Upon using the app it constantly does not recognize your aids. That requires deleting the app, going to the App Store and downloading one. Ive gone through this process many times to the point of frustration. Oticon claims the app has been updated but I find no evidence of that. I’ve been to my audiologist for ‘calibration’ but the app reverts to the same as before. The rating of the app in the Apple App Store gives you some indication of its performance- TWO STARS!

Not just that, but when it connects finally the programs don’t show up

The new app says that it can’t connect to my hearing aids but my hearing aids are made by Oticon. Is there something I need to do? My hearing aids are an older Oticon model. Maybe six years old? The app says that my hearing aids are not compatible with the app.

OK, but how about the differences between a Samsung and an iPhone.

The companion is worthless. Takes minutes of fussing to connect, then they drop out and you have to go through the whole process again. If you're in a restaurant or store and want to switch from general to comfort, forget about it. You'll just lose connection entirely. Never had trouble either Oticon On. My aids are only a year and a half old.
