Thank you for this demo...but what really pisses me off, WHY DO MOST OF THE CONDUIT CONNECTORS RUN ACROSS THE FLOOR?
I only ask this because, increasingly, it seems to me that Bethesda IS Vault Tec. I honestly think they're doing social experiments on us to figure out how much we can take and with one hand over their mouths, peeking around the corner, snickering at us.
Case in point: The original design was so incredibly unwieldy and very hard to build. I mean how do you build a system that doesn't allow wires through the walls, right? If people of this timeline are able to figure out how modify laser weapons...they ought to be able figure out how to use a hand drill and drill out a hole to run a wire through.
So they decide to correct it with this DLC. MONTHS after people had figured out all kinds of crazy ways to move wires through walls via flowery rugs, etc.
So we finally get a Vanilla way to do this...and the majority is running pipes across the floors instead of the ceiling.
Seriously...and I understand this is a game that is set in a made-up future timeline...why would you have all of these pipes and huge-ass connectors sticking up from the ground where everyone could trip over them. Why wouldn't you run them across the ceiling?
Because Bethesda IS Vault-Tec. They can't give us a way to design that makes sense, they have to tweak it enough that it is frustrating for those of us that actually want our settlements to look realistic without having to resort to mods.
What's that sound? It's Bethesda designers trying to stifle their laughter as they watch us cope with their purposefully made up glitches.

I’m playing Fallout London, and I never messed with Settlement building in base FO4. Let me tell you I was panicking that setting my two room apartment in the game would require a really ugly amount of wires if I didn’t know what the conduits do!

You can pass horizontal conduit (not just the special wall pass-through) through walls I've found. I placed the conduit first and ran it to the ceiling and then placed a wall (factory wall specifically) perpendicular to the conduit.

Thanks a lot. In the middle of building a massive barn in Sanctuary and my light wasn't working on the far end. Now I see I need one of those radiators and I'll be good. Appreciate your videos been watching them a lot lately got me back into a serious RP version of Fallout 4!
