Honestly this is one of the saddest and most beautiful songs that i’ve heard. I just love this kind of songs that from the outside look like they are happy or melancholic but if you are smart enough you see that they hold a deeper meaning. The tone and text really implies that author lost his hope for change of his current situation and tries to accept it. For me its the worst kind of sadness, when nothing changes and you know it never will, when you give up trying to be happy and accept that you never will. Its like trying to live without emotions.

I always get sad when hearing this song. It reminds me of one person whom I really liked, but then he started to slowly turn into a complete stranger. And after he started to treat me kinda weirdly, I decided to cut off all contact. I miss our first date and how we used to write each other until midnight almost every day. Even thought he treated me terribly in the end, I really miss him.
