Downloading Video Streams using Python

In this video, we will learn how to download videos from the websites which do not provide a direct download button.
The process depends upon the type of video streaming method implemented by the website. Hence, we explore 2 websites to understand the different ways of downloading video streams.

Around a year ago I was working on this same thing and I had a hard time figuring out what .ts files and m3u8 format were. And there were little to no resources on youtube for the same. You did an excellent job explaining it. Finally an Indian creator who doesn't teach basics of every programming language or framework but implement some cool projects with them. Sometime in the future I would love to see the the implementation of ffmpeg library in python.

I came across it by chance. Every now and then I've looked around for scraping through sites to get streaming videos and never found anything worth reading or watching.

However, your video, showed what to look for, the m3u8 files, which you can filter for, then explained how these index files work. You explained it so very well that I used your technique on a very different kind of website with a very different method for the use of m3u8 files. I downloaded all of the ts files, using a for loop. So easy once someone like you explains how it works.

Then, you even explained how to combine all of those files into one. And then, even how to convert them. So many people on stackoverflow just scramble this kind of question about joining ts files. Your method is so simple

Man, your video is really a life-saver for me. I am currently working on a video streaming project with the implementation of ABR (adaptive bitrate streaming). However, I had spent almost ten weeks on figuring out how to implement ABR in my project but was still struggling with it. I did a lot of researches and tried to code it, but still did not make any progress. When I was in despair and really deemed that I was not able to implement ABR in the project anymore, I found this video and watched it. This is the greatest explanation I had ever found on implementing ABR in a particular project. Literally, no one has not talked about the way of implementing the ABR concept but you did it.
