How to Download Embedded Videos Using DevTools

There are many websites in the internet to learn any subject. Most of them depend on streaming videos online than providing the video files offline for viewing later whenever we want it. That's why in this video we will learn how to download embedded videos for offline viewing. This may also help you to learn how to download videos from private and protected website, but there is no guarantee because every website is different and security for any website is paramount. That being said, this trick WON'T help you with Netflix, or Prime Video, or even on YouTube sometimes. So, please respect copyright policies and be cognizant of this practice before you download videos that may have been embedded for a reason by the content owners. I only recommend doing this for your personal use and not misuse it for illegal gains.

I tested this with some of the Pluralsight videos too and it worked fine.

I have spent most of my morning fearful of downloading the offers that are on the web in order to grab a video...by using my dev tools I have no fear!!! Great video!!! Stay safe everybody!!!! Now it wasn't exactly the walkthrough, we all know how things change quickly in the dev world but after clicking a few buttons (don't be afraid to) I was able to get the job done! This might work on some outdated sites, but modern streaming services all run blob segments (via XHR calls) of .ts .m3u8 etc, which is completely different thing.

Do you have any suggestion for if a website tries to stop you from using dev tools to download the video ? Like some websites there will not be 1 mp4 but many smaller media files, some websites don't show any media files and some websites show a normal .mp4 with normal size but opening the page if 'error 403 forbidden'
