I don't think it's necessary unless people aren't working properly however he pays the wages so it's up to him. If people don't like it go elsewhere

That's why so many people were complying and in favor of lockdowns.

I don’t know why people have such a dislike for Fargage. I think he deserves a knighthood. Love Elon too

Musk is a bif enough man to admit when he makes mistakes... He openly said he voted for Clinton, but also says he was wrong!

I think that's reasonable my dad worked 12 hours a day mostly 7 days a week. I worked about 45 hours a week that was OK people need to get back to work and start mixing again.

Most of them are out recreational cycling during rush hour.

Its up to the Employer not the Employee, so DVLA and Passport office as a example can not function with out people so they either go back to work or replace them

Good old Nigel Farage, always a pleasure to hear what he has to say.
The solution to a lot of the present, leftist non-sense is not exactly rocket science, people in charge simply has to wake up and get back to work.
If they can't see that then let them start their own businesses, that'll wake them up in a spliit second. Double the hours, no holidays for years and no time for family, if you succeed....

Take the 40 hours in the office and consider your self lucky.

This is NOT an unreasonable request by Musk. Employees are not slaves and can leave the company as they please.

Good for him. About time the world grew up started to get back to work.

40 hours is a working week. Do it, get paid.

Working from home is great; less expenses for travel, expensive lunches/coffees. It basically bumps your salary up by approx £10k a year.

It’s been a good safeguard against the rising costs of living.

A job should be based on tasks rather than time spent and if someone working from home hasn’t delivered then they should be fired. It’s that simple.

As a nurse I obviously don't have the option of working from home, but even if I did, I don't think I'd choose to. My home is my sanctuary, not to be affiliated with work in anyway.

Seems fair, it's practically a 9 to 5 job, with weekends to spare. It's like an old fashioned bit of employment from the past. In which people actually felt tired and accomplished after every shift. May seem boring after long periods of time, but it paid the bills, kept a roof over ones head, and also kept food on the table and clothes on ones back. I really do not see any unfairness from this. It's old fashioned but it works.

I'd sack the lot of them if they didn't get back to the office to work. Elon is a great man who others can learn a lot from

Most of these people accepted working in the office when they were interviewed so whats changed other than they were given a " holiday " from the office for their own Covid safety?.

If you make $250k plus bonus and stock options, you're an entitled lazy person if you complain for working 40hrs/week in the factory. Most of us work 60+hrs per week and still have a balanced life.

Go and see how "efficiently" AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) works from home. One of the most inefficient operations I've ever seen.
