Please try to understand the meaning of the phrase "the world is going to operate in blocs" because if you don't we are going through the same over and over again.

2 billion pounds to prop up a failing concept. It has already been proven that there is not a viable demand for EVs without serious government subsidies to incentivise it. The German government recently withdrew company car subsidies for EVs, which was around 90% of their EV market. The resulting market crash is coming close to finishing off VW.

As more and more EVs burst into flames and battery life expectancy hits home, insurance will become out of reach for the ordinary motorist.
