The MCU X-Men movie needs to be a franchise that doesn't make Wolverine the main focus. I mean bring back Hugh as Wolverine sure, but Disney shouldn't repeat the overreliance on Wolverine that Fox was constantly doing.

Good! Don't repeat Fox's mistake and making the X-Men franchise a Wolverine one. It's time to finally get the real X-Men going.

This is actually a very good idea. Focus on the X-men this time around. Do a slow build up and make a Wolverine addition a huge thing over time. Give the other X-men a turn at the swings.

Considering that the FOX-Men movies were all about Wolverine & Mystique, two characters who should NEVER be the focus, this is a good idea!

Wolverine is the aspect where he comes and goes, he's there when they need him and will wear their colors but for the most part, he's a wondering mutant.

That's cool in my book. X-Men is a considerable IP that expands to many different stories.

We might get Logan down the line in the next installment. Heck, Logan might get his line of films.

I agree that the original 5 is a good core team to start with, especially if they're going to have them start out as teenagers, then bring in the Second Genesis/Giant-Size X-Men later on as adults, but maybe not too much later. Regardless, I think they will eventually have to bring in Wolverine if they want people to keep watching, especially general audiences. I think they should introduce a new Wolverine in a Hulk project as nod to his first appearance and then give him his own solo project or projects to tide people over until he's ready to join the X-Men. I feel like people will immediately be like "where's Wolverine?" if an X-Men project drops and he's not already accounted for in some way. Hell, they could even do an Alpha Flight project and have him as a member of AF before the X-Men.

Honestly a dream lineup would be Professor X, Forge, Cyclops, Iceman, Angel, Beast, and Marvel Girl with JUST Magneto as the villain

I’m cool if he isn’t there, but I think that might be a mistake. Not cause he is needed, but because if the only way you can properly develop other characters is to exclude Wolverine, you have a much larger problem. The Ultimate X Men introduced Wolverine right away, and it still had some great moments with other characters. I’m good if he ain’t in it… but I’d rather them learn how to make the XMen interesting with him… cause, they will need to make that happen, or end like Fox down the line with movies that feel like Wolverine and a few other guys, than actual XMen stories.

They should introduce Alpha Flight to tie in a lot of story lines. But, have the original X-Men would be a good start.

Good there are so many more characters that can carry the brand without Wolverine
Just do it similar to comics, its simple. Have him come in later
