I always forget Whitestorm is Ashfurs and Fernsongs father! That makes it even sadder that Fernpaw and Ashpaw mauled Bone during the battle against bloodclan. Other apprentices helped, but Fernpaw and Ashpaw lead the ambush on Bone after he killed Whitestorm. Amazing content, really hit me in the feels!

Dude, they are SO underrated. Sometimes I think about the fact that when Ashpaw was begging Firestar to let him and Fernpaw help lead the dogs to avenge Brindleface and Firestar said no, it was Whitestorm who intervened and said to let them do it. Or how Ashpaw was one of the apprentices who mauled Bone to death after he killed Whitestorm. And Ashfur always seemed close with his half-brothers Sootfur and Rainwhisker, too (they were mentioned to be sitting or talking together in the background of scenes quite frequently). I am so upset right now

Honestly parent and child relationships are hella underrated in warriors. I would love to see more characters interact with their kits in a loving family way instead of a "yeah we are friends" way. This is super awsome <3

I like it, it's different.
Many people do relationship projects with SquirrelFlight, BrambleClaw, Leafpool or any other including the trio, but they rarely think of a story of Ashfur's relationship with his parents.

Ashfur threw jealous, stong and stubborn storms of red and grey.
Polar opposites driven by their own perception of loyalty.
Loyalty to his clan and leader.
Loyalty to his unrequited love.

WHOA this is absolutely amazing, and very underrated! I love how it starts with a cute, cheerful scene with Ashkit and Whitestorm, then the black screen before the beat drop and key change at 0:12 provokes so much emotion; it's incredibly well executed! Whitestorm's crying expression as he watches his once innocent, loving son try to murder three cats and then getting killed by one of them was really touching. This is a really great PMV. Beautiful job! ❤️✨
Edit: also, I love your artstyle and just noticed the blur you put around Whitestorm during the fire scene to draw more attention to his face: it also reflects how he must be feeling. Awesome!

i have a headcanon that white was like a father figure to ash and fern after brindle got a cat divorce with their real father (i say darkstripe cause of cloud kit being taken it by brindle) so it makes it less weird that he has another mate and is never seen as brindles mate

I noticed alot of questioning about if Whitestorm is actually the father of Ashfur and Ferncloud. It was confirmed by the Erin's and Wiki that he was but I think what causes problems and confusion was the belief was that Sandstorm was Redtail and Brindleface's kit- which makes Squirrelflight related to Ashfur. I'm here to say that that's not true- it was never truly confirmed but was only brought up on Vicky's Facebook one time, most likely before realizing how wrong it would be-. And since the Erin's have Fixed everything in the family tree wiki- Sandstorm is not confirmed to be anyone's kit, and it's understandable due to the fact we never hear or see her life growing up in any book. So in statement Yes Whitestorm is the father and No Ashfur and Squirrelflight are not related. Also wanted to add if any of the Brindleface kits were actually in a weird incest relationship it's Ferncloud- cause it is actually confirmed that Dustpelt is the brother of Brindleface, along with Frostfur and Ravenpaw. They were all Robinwing and Fuzzypelt's kits.

Here's something i just realized..

AshFur is SquirrelFlights uncle..
Because SandStorm is the kit of BrindleFace, from RedTail.
And AshFur is BrindleFace's kit too, from WhiteStorm.
So, SandStorm and AshFur are half-siblings.
Which means, SquirrelFlight. SandStorms kit.
Is AshFur's half-niece.
And the age gap is HUGE so it makes it alot weirder, that AshFur was inlove with his own Niece.
(I actually always thought the father was DarkStripe O.o)
