First tracks on the Boss Snowrator

Landscape company I worked for had a first generation Snowrator when it was manufactured from Z-Spray. Originally this was the ZX4 Snowrator. We used it for residential houses with odd driverways that would make using a John Deere 5115M, 6125M, etc with a Kage plow very difficult. One driveway had a roundabout with a water feature in the middle. So used the snowrator to move snow.

Great little machine. Ours had a salt spreader and salt brine sprayer reservoir. Only used the salt spreader and it worked well.

They are amazing! Bought one From Messicks it is a Labor Saving Tool! Replaced 6 people shoveling on 48” walks! Already have 34 hrs on it Great tool!

Looks like you could make a small scoop bucket like a vintrac has and would be great for cleaning barns and stalls

The only thing is with that scout it is not stainless as the other others are of course the others are more money, which is a great piece of mind when dealing with snow, even if you’re not putting down salt with the machine if you’re plowing snow with salt in it from the road it will eventually affect the machine if not cleaned right afterwards, but it is an entry level great machine

we actually just got our scout yesterday. my wife has already put 4.5 hours on it since we got it yesterday. she truly loves the machine. I am jealous over the heat exchanger with the vent lines and not to mention its way faster than my snowrator (brine tink ) however I feel like the scout gets stuck without the wide stance of the rotor. did you talk about the heat deflection? cause that is a really neat addition to the scout?

That is one slick rig .I just picked up a 2017 svl 75 2 could you tell me if it has a factory battery disconnect and we're it is I can't find it.

For the less money you can find a Boss V-Plow like I did when I bought my like new Boss DXT V-plow. Oh and it’s on my 2021 Chevy 2500 HD where it’s warm, dry and I get to sit down!!!!or a side by side UTV!

My neighbor has one of these for his 1/8 mile long driveway. Last night they hauled him away for ovi on it. He was turning around on the county road and the cops lit him up

How is it on grades? dozing uphill almost looks like it could flip over on you. Or you just dozer down hill and reverse back up?
Can this handle at least 8-12" of snow without the wheels slipping all over the place?

Could that machine be used for other things or does it just sit in doors with just the blade
