To all those teenagers saying they can hit D1, C1, etc… no you most likely can not. Because what you hear your voice is is different to what you actually are. Get a good mic and record your voice on a pitch detector. In your head, you might be A1 or so, but in reality, your more likely to be E2-B2

Last month F2 was my lowest. After some vocal training I can now hit D2.

Edit: check out subharmonic singing. I can now hit F#1, but it's hard to control.

If you know about about different types of singing “voices” you’ll know that you can “sing” lower than normal. As an example, in my chest voice, I can sing an F#2. After that, it’s starts to get into the subharmonic range for me. Then after a couple of those, it gets into my growl register. Now, whether or not you consider those singing, is up to you. However, with training you can hit those lower notes cleaner.

All of you here saying you can hit octave 1 notes. your bullshitting yourself. very few people can hit those notes clean and clear.

I go as low as C#2. Truth is in used to have a high ass pitched voice but as soon as I turned 12 all my aspirations of maintaining falsetto and being soprano were dashed. I now embrace my lower voice (even if it is slightly) and I’ll train myself to to down to a Bb soon.
