The Sunshine Coast is a 180km stretch of paradise that’s tucked into the southwest corner of mainland British Columbia. Located within the traditional territories of the Tla’amin, Klahoose, shíshálh, Skwxwú7mesh, and Homalco First Nations, the Sunshine Coast is accessible only by air or sea. Epic fjords, soaring mountains, secluded beaches, pristine lakes, and green forests—combined with a string of vibrant, coastal communities—make the coast the perfect place to experience a slice of BC life.

The natural landscape offers endless opportunities for outdoor adventure and discovery, and it also inspires talented artists and crafters ranging from painters and writers to chefs and brewers. Sunshine Coasters love their unique lifestyle and welcome visitors to share everything from community festivals to over 1,500kms of trails.

Come spend some time reconnecting with nature, enjoying the laid-back vibe, and discovering unique communities such as Gibsons, Roberts Creek, Sechelt, and Pender Harbour on the south coast, and Powell River, Lund, and Texada Island on the north coast. And please remember to be safe, responsible, and respectful as you travel throughout the Sunshine Coast.

"The Beachcombers", which was filmed in Gibsons, led me here.

Question: What was the name of the song that was used before this one for a Sunshine Coast video? It featured a local female singer/acoustic guitarist. I loved that song but can't remember the name, artist, etc. Only lyric I think I remember is "breathe." Never mind, I found it! The video was called "Go Coastal" and the song was "Mark on my Map" by Stephanie Formosa. That video helped to inspire me to move back to Canada and specifically to BC! Oh, and the lyric that I misremembered was "breeze" lol.
