This week's video marks a new series I'll start working on about basic photography tips and techniques. Today's video covers three simple tips to improve your images. Let me know if there's anything you'd like covered in upcoming videos and I'll try to work on videos that help you most!

First up, let me apologise for the camera drifting out of focus! It seems that Fujifilm's face-detection still has a way to go before it becomes fully usable.

I really enjoyed seeing your images and explaining your thoughts on how you created them I am curious how many photos you take to get that one moment… ratio of keepers for those special shots 👍

Dylan could you do a video on flash? How it all works, as it's a lot more complicated then just using a flash.. I love your videos.

I have just subscribed to your channel. Good content. Do you shoot with film simulations? I really like the colors that you are getting out of your photos.

I much enjoyed that, both your commentary and the photos themselves. Thank you! One suggestion I've got, though -- if you don't mind -- is that I'd appreciate slightly more time with the photo as the video frame, and so slightly less time with it in the background. Of course, if I really want to dwell on the photo, I can stop the video. But more of the photo while you talk would be much appreciated. But in any case, it's already much appreciated.

At 14’5” ...to get this kind of shot do you point the camera directly to the subject? I’m always afraid that they will run towards me and punch me lol

Which technique do you recommend for these awesome candid shots? *I love your work and website!
