This new Settlers 'game' is...
1) 100% the result of a developer (Ubisoft) 100% IGNORING all that was good about the previous games...
2) 100% the developer IGNORING EVERY fan and purchaser of those previous games, and instead...
3) Producing something which has been so dumbed down as to render this nothing more than suitable for someone at kindergarten.
4) According to director Christian Hagedorn, the team had to redesign the game as the gameplay systems they originally designed were overcomplicated --> THAT'S(!!!) about as fkn braindead an attitude as it gets, an attitude becoming more and more widespread with today's devs.

Why do they show boats, and why is there magic why not just siege weapons seems very backwards and misleading.

Do you find it gets annoying playing an rts with a controler, I prefer to play Rts on pc. I always find I miss the mouse and keyboard when controlling troops in battle.
