Loved the logistic part of the old version. Trying to find good spots, building effective roads and get a nice flow on materials. When they start to skip those parts, it's just another game among thousands others like this. So nope this is not for me anymore.

This is not the Settlers that we loved, this is another Age of Empires in Settlers' clothing. And if we want to enjoy the combat, the fighting, we would go play Age of Empires IV instead.

To the creators of Settlers. People ! tell me or reply under this comment. What do you have to have in this empty head, or rather what not to have, to destroy The Settlers like this? You made two masterpieces, Settlers III and IV. These are phenomenal, jaw-dropping games. What possessed you to ruin it like that? More than 25 years have passed and I still don't know what's wrong with you. It was enough - improve the graphics, add interesting new buildings, leave the building selection menu intact, add interesting new races and tribes, new ships and warriors, interesting large maps, leave the camera view as it is in III and IV or remake III and IV itself, adding new buildings. People, I hope someone fires you and employs those who created III and IV

After playing for 3-4 hours I can say there's a good balance between economy and battling. This entry seems like modern version of Settlers 3/4 with a bit faster but not too rushed pace. Pretty fun so far.

I think it's fair to say we all love the trailer... but it is a shame it isn't on steam.

And I will certainly wait for reviews to come in... I am personally fine with a 'northgard' successor... so.. i'm optimistic, even if you've lost some people with the modern/ simplified game design.. but you really should make putting this on steam a priority.

1 vs 1 is bugged all the time, or cant build streets / buildings or game crush and nothing can do. I try with friend ply 1 vs 1 and game get bugged like 10 + times already on multi, we cant finish even 1 match all the time one of us get bug that unites and evrything is freezed and nothing working

The 2019 trailer really sold me on that other Settlers game at the time.
