In today's tutorial Brandon teaches you how to create a ball of energy in Photoshop - inspired by the Rasengan from Naruto and Naruto Shippuuden. Some think it looks like the Kamehameha from Dragonball Z as well, so I guess it just depends on your point of view. Regardless - enjoy =)

If you ever stumble on my comment Brandon, I wish to tell you that I admire your creativity and your handy-work. Always a good lesson and I just love applying these on my own photos for a practice! I love your work! You're a perfect teacher and an inspiration! Greetings from Czech republic and keep up the good work!!!

If I were to cut out describing shortcuts, explaining "why" I do things, etc, then you're right; I could probably cut out 5 or 10 mins. But keep in mind that I try to create tutorials that everyone can view regardless of their prowess in Photoshop. At first I tried splitting up the tutorials into categories, and all I got were repeated questions.
Also, "You guys [...] need to make these videos shorter" is not constructive criticism, it's just criticism.

Screw these guys Brandon. You just keep doing what you do. I love your tutorials, if not for you I wouldn't know half the stuff I know about Photoshop. Thank you so very much for taking the time to help in my education of Photoshop.

Okay Brandon, this is amazing. I recently joined a kind of course for teenagers that are unable to go to High School due to problems at home and so on, and out of those poor choices I had I chose Media, which is basically editing pictures, movies, etc. and I've never had the luck of being able to have Photoshop before now. I decided to check out your videos seeing as they were easy to understand, and positively fascinating.
Amazing job! Watching the whole video is appealing, for me at least. :)

I found your tutorial YEARS ago as a teenager just learning Photoshop. I saved it and years later am back to reference it again. Hahaha. Thanks so much

I've used this tutorial twice and it's awesome!! Makes the cosplay really come alive! I also find using a snow brush set to the color of the rasengan (light blue) around the rasengan gives a nice effect as well!

Amazing tutorial; Amazing thought on what you would do to make that effect. I love Photoshop so much. You can go into it with nothing but creativity and you will never come out with something that isn't good.
