0:32 "Thousands of years of struggle, and Israel is the latest one." Israel's a struggle because people don't like it when you waltz into their country and claim part of it as your own.

Give me a break. I was twice in tel aviv, each for an entire month in an ordinary rented apartment and not hollywood luxury and once only there was an alarm. No one slso talks about the chillind fact that you will never guess that there is war so close in Gaza. Restaurants are packed, cafeterias are packed, every block has a bakery, bars are packed, and all these when few miles away civilians are bombed out of existence and kids are deliberately starved to death. I am ashamed to be an american jew when i hear of luxury short visits couched as though visitors were facing imminent danger or death. No such thing at all. None whatsoever

Jerry the struggles.? You haven't struggled one day of your life. Your ancestors may have suffered but not you, we lost alot of people to fighting those wars to stop the nazis only to have israel commit the same bs in Gaza.
My hero is no longer.

Imagine someone that lives in Israel and made numerous visits to bomb shelters, then one day bumps into Jerry in one. 🤣 What is the deal with these bomb shelters?

How naive to imagine he could have said

"We are Americans"

"We are very close to the struggle of being Americans"

i love jerry. i have many Jewish friends. but calling out genocide and forced starvation is not antisemitism. criticism of israeli policies is not antisemitism.

So disappointed about Jerry, but happy that many Americans and people around the world knew what really happening in Gaza what crimes Israel and USA are doing there

Now imagine being a Palestinian civilian and having no where to run to for shelter. Israel has bombed over 2/3's of all civilian infrastructure in Gaza. Israel even bombed an official UN shelter. Hamas is evil but a response where 30x's the civilians are killed is also evil.

Jerry, the influence of a comedian in terms of giving people a moment of universality through the common experience of laughter should remain your focus .,
Taking sides with something that is NOt universal but highly polarized should net be your legacy as you advance in age . take a stance of neutrality and unit the world in laughter

If Jerry thinks he knows what war is like, he is more delusional than I thought. Such an arrogant thing to say.
